Domo® Sports Grass is looking for a Business Manger to take overall lead of our office in the UK (1 – 2 North End, Swineshead, Boston, PE203LP).

As Business Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for overseeing business activities in the UK and Ireland. You will consistently organise and monitor corporate policies and guidelines to ensure the smooth operation of all company activities. Regularly, you will liaise with colleagues from other branches and maintain close contact with the management team. Your responsibilities will encompass discussions on various matters, ranging from minor issues to economic investments and exploring new markets.

What are your responsibilities?

As Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the office to ensure the smooth execution of all business activities.
• Acquiring in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and/or services to effectively advise and guide your team and customers.
• Managing financial records, including overseeing payments, quotations, and invoices, and maintaining communication with the accounting department regarding these matters.
• Supervising staff by providing motivation and training to ensure a high level of performance.
• Developing plans and policies to enhance operational efficiency in various areas such as vehicles and equipment, procurement, revenue growth, ICT, etc.
• Maintaining communication with customers, both current and potential, and visiting them to assist with orders, address problems, handle complaints, etc.
• You will work with or manage several colleagues, including salespeople, purchasers, production staff, accountants, CSDs, etc.
• Reporting to the central management on region’s activities and performance.

Who is our ideal candidate?

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
Multi-tasking skills: Demonstrated ability to switch quickly between tasks, efficiently managing staff during busy periods.
Accurate handling financial data: you are working accurate and precisely, especially with financial data.
Excellent communication skills: Proficient in both oral and written communication.
Interpersonal skills: Ability to build positive relationships with staff, customers, and colleagues.
Commercial insight: A keen understanding of customer needs, cost control, and effective sales strategies.
Result-oriented: Demonstrated perseverance and commitment to achieving desired outcomes.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously and oversee decision-making processes.
Good analytical skills: Strong ability to identify potential problems and formulate appropriate solutions.
