S&C Slatter are specialists in sports construction, placemaking and professional services — delivering first-class facilities and lasting value for clients including Eton College, Everton Football Club, Everyone Active, and Alexander Stadium (venue for the Commonwealth Games).
We design, build and maintain sports pitches, courts, tracks and multi-use games areas that meet or exceed the standards set by national and international governing bodies including FIFA, FIH, RFU and LTA.
Our in-house Professional Services team streamlines design and planning, supporting clients through feasibility, funding and planning approval — providing a single trusted partner from ambition to outcome.
Beyond sport, our placemaking expertise transforms open spaces — creating attractive, biodiverse environments that enhance wellbeing and improve communities. From activity zones and courtyards to incredible urban parks, we create sustainable landscapes that enrich their surroundings.
With over 35 years’ experience and a reputation for quality and integrity, we provide a single, trusted partner from vision to reality — ensuring every project delivers long-term value.
This is a key role overseeing a team of experienced construction professionals with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Competitive package in line with experience to include company car and pension.
As a Contracts Manager with S&C Slatter, you’ll take a leading role in delivering high-quality sports construction and placemaking projects across multiple sites. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations — from project kick-off through to handover — ensuring programmes run smoothly, safely and to the highest standards.
Working closely with our Directors, design teams, procurement specialists and site staff, you’ll coordinate labour and resources, manage project schedules, and resolve issues with a calm, commercial approach. You’ll also play a key part in the financial performance of each project, managing valuations, forecasting costs, and maintaining accurate contract and cashflow information.
This is a hands-on role where strong communication, leadership and organisation are essential. You’ll guide and support Site Managers and Contract Supervisors, chair site meetings when required, and help shape the successful delivery of projects that make a real impact for communities, clubs and clients nationwide.
If you’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives on responsibility, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering exceptional work, we’d love to hear from you.
