Sports Labs Ltd. are seeking to employ a Framework engineer to join their team of multi-disciplined Field Engineers and Technicians.
The main area of operations is carrying out the certification of Sports surfaces, facilities and systems for national governing bodies such as FIFA, World Rugby, World Athletics, FIH and ITF. In the main these consist of Artificial Turf facilities or synthetic playing surfaces. Sports Labs are part of a major framework with the Football Foundation to deliver 100’s of artificial turf pitches over the next 4 years. Delivering services within this framework will be the main focus of this position.
The position will be site based and therefore travel from home to different sites on a daily basis will be required. A company vehicle will be provided as part of the job. Whilst working remotely, you will still be expected to work and be an integral part of our busy field testing team.
Main Duties will include performing key stage inspections during the construction of new and refurbished artificial pitches. On occasion you will be providing support to the accredited field technicians during the testing and certification of sports surfaces strictly in accordance with specification documents. Assisting with onsite data collection and reporting of results back to head office.
You will be expected to develop within the company and work towards accreditation by governing bodies to allow you to undertake other testing activities alongside the key stage inspections testing.
A qualification in any of the following disciplines is desirable; Sports Engineering, Civil/Building Engineering, materials testing and/or Sports pitch and road construction is required.
