Smith Maintenance is a leading provider of synthetic sports surface maintenance across the country. We carry out an extensive range of maintenance procedures from weekly drag-brushing through to Track Cleaning and Major Surface Rejuvenation treatments, to extend the life span of the synthetic surface.
Due to high demand for our services, we are expanding our team.
We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual who can demonstrate high standards of care and pride in their work.
This position does require early starts, long hours and working away from home. Previous experience is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Routine & Reactive care maintenance on synthetic surfaces
- Cleaning of hard surfaces i.e. Athletics Tracks & Tennis Courts
- Chemical application
- General repairs
- Operating plant and machinery
- Good communication skills
The ideal candidate must hold the following:
- A CSCS Card
- A full clean UK Driving Licence
- A C1 Licence (or test passed before January 1997)
The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS as many of our clients are schools and universities.
