SIS has experienced unprecedented growth recently and a high level of business development is planned in our current 3-Year Business Plan. With an expanding portfolio of UK, European and overseas clients, particularly within the educational and sports sectors, SIS is seeking competent Site Supervisors.
This role will be involved in supporting all aspects of the planning, construction and delivery of the highest quality artificial surface sports pitches and managing construction sites. The work will involve varied locations regionally throughout the UK.
The successful candidates shall be experienced in construction site management, with the relevant technical and project skills, although training shall be given in relevant industry processes.
Experience in sports pitch construction, artificial surface installation or groundsmanship is preferable. However, we welcome applications from site managers with the right construction skills levels and a positive attitude towards site supervision.
You must be highly organized with sound experience in logistics, resource planning and co-ordination; with a passion and commitment to the delivery of a high-quality customer-focussed service. Excellent communication, interpersonal and some basic IT skills are required with an ability to solve problems, think creatively, often under pressure. An ability to think ahead and identify risks is critical, as is a commitment to quality and health and safety.
