Replay Maintenance Launches ‘Revolutionary’ PitchPassport

Synthetic turf care specialist and SAPCA member Replay Maintenance introduced its new PitchPassport 365 tool with the promise of revolutionising the way synthetic turf maintenance requirements are recorded and traced.

PitchPassport has been designed to enable communications between the manufacturer, installer, maintainer and pitch operator, allowing all those responsible for the pitch to input historical, current and predictive maintenance information about the turf.

The information gathered can then be used to identify and resolve minor maintenance issues before they become major concerns.

Utilising an app and online platform, PitchPassport’s key features include a usage calculator and innovative heat mapping technology, which use an embedded algorithm to produce a pitch map depicting areas of wear and tear.

The information gathered by the tool can then be used in-house – or by the external maintenance company – to ensure works are carried out effectively. The data can also be used to diagnose and schedule maintenance to resolve potential issues before they become major concerns.

Using live-stream monitoring technology, all important information relating to a pitch can be reported “live” while the maintenance visit takes place. The data can then be accessed anywhere at anytime via a dedicated client portal app.

Using the app, the pitch operator can view scheduled maintenance visits using a calendar function, including a thorough description of the planned works and any job notes specific to the surface.

The maintainer can then update progress on the job live from the site, submitting photos, documents or notes from their visit, creating a comprehensive maintenance report.

Another feature, ReplayRescue, gives the operator the ability to report any urgent matters instantly using a red or amber alert to highlight the need for further action.
