Chemique Adhesives partnered with DRC Enterprises, a major US-based sports turf installer, to support the installation of artificial sports surfaces across high-scale university and school projects in the United States. Over the past two seasons, Chemique supplied Turftak® 2 polyurethane adhesive for more than 60 new sports field installations, including American football fields, baseball fields, and football pitches.

The Challenge
DRC Enterprises had historically relied on a single-component polyurethane adhesive due to limited competition within the US artificial turf adhesive market. However, this product presented consistent challenges:
- In high summer temperatures, the adhesive was prone to foaming, leading to bond failure and costly rework of completed field sections.

The Solution
Chemique introduced Turftak® 2, a two-component polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for high-performance artificial turf installations. The system was selected for its controlled curing characteristics and proven reliability in variable outdoor environments.
