The SAPCA Golf Open 2025 will take place on Wednesday 25 June at Whittlebury Park, which is situated in the beautiful, rolling countryside of south Northamptonshire.
This ‘championship’ Golf Course, built on the Whittlebury estate in 1905, offers an opportunity to play around the remaining copses of the ancient Royal Whittlebury Forest. The course features 36 holes, comprising four loops of nine holes, each of which are STRI & USGA accredited greens.
We will host a networking dinner that evening in the Atrium 1905 Suite, and hotel accommodation is also available at the venue.

For the golfers the programme for the day is:
- Bacon rolls with freshly ground coffee or tea on arrival – from 8.00am onwards.
- The SAPCA Open: 18 holes of golf on the Championship Golf Courses – with a 2-Tee start.
- Refreshments at the ‘Atrium’ golf clubhouse courtesy of our sponsors Mapei.
- Speciality holes of “Nearest the pin” for the Ron Harrod Memorial Trophy, “Longest drive”, and “Nearest the pin in two” kindly sponsored by Fosse Contracts.
- Relaxation at the 19th hole.
- Three-course Golfers’ Dinner, with wine from 7.00pm
- Charity raffle in aid of SAPCA’s 2025 nominated charity – ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’
- Presentation of prizes
The cost for the full day is £100 plus VAT per golfer. Member companies can enter one or more teams of two players, and/or individuals to be paired with other players.
A very limited number of Golf Buggies are available to hire and will be allocated on needs basis. Please request this on your booking together with your health condition/special needs.
Members not playing in the tournament are invited to book places at the Golfers’ Dinner in the evening £35 plus VAT. Please note that the cost of the dinner is already included for golfers, and so this does not need to be booked separately for those playing in the competition.
Women in SAPCA lunch-time conversation with Gail Emms MBE
We’re hosting a Women in SAPCA Lunchtime Conversation with Olympic silver medalist Gail Emms MBE on 25 June (during the SAPCA Golf Day) kindly sponsored by Carbon8 Lighting.
The event, which is open to all male and female members, will take place in the Atrium Terrace Room at Whittlebury Park Golf Course in Northampton – the venue for this year’s SAPCA Golf Day.
The talk will start at 1pm and a buffet lunch will be served.
During the motivational talk, Gail will recall the obstacles and challenges she experienced during her mixed doubles training with coaches who used language such as ‘man up’ when times were tough and emotions were high. She will also outline how, working together within a male/female dynamic, companies can create a stronger, more effective, supportive team environment.

How to Register
To book your places for the day please use the online form by clicking the button below.
The booking form requests information about each golfer and other attendees, (such as names, handicaps, email address etc.), but if this information is not yet known then that’s no problem, additional information can be submitted later once places have been booked.
Payment should be made online when booking, and a receipt will then be provided automatically.
Cancellations can be made up to Wednesday 11 June, for which there would be a small administration charge (10%). No refunds can be provided for any cancellations after that date.
Joining instructions (including tee times) will be sent out to all participants a few days in advance of the tournament.
Hotel accommodation
Please note: Due to overwhelming demand for this year’s event overnight B&B accommodation at the onsite Hotel is now sold out for evening of 25 June.
We have secured a number of rooms at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone which is 3km from Whittlebury Park Golf Resort at the rate of £135 (plus VAT) for single occupancy.
Please note: all accommodation at this hotel should be booked through SAPCA and not with the hotel.
We have an allocation of bedrooms held for the night of Wednesday 25 June, and a smaller number for the Tuesday 24 night as well, should anyone prefer to arrive the day before. These are all available on a first come, first served basis.
