SAPCA is delighted to announce that Women in Football CEO Yvonne Harrison will be the guest speaker at the Women in SAPCA networking lunch, which will take place from 12pm to 1.30pm during the SAPCA Golf Day, on Wednesday 10 June at Breadsall Priory, in Derbyshire.
The event, which is kindly sponsored by Chappell Enterprises, is open to all SAPCA members. The cost is £22 plus VAT per person and includes lunch in the Breadsall Room.
Yvonne has been featured within the Telegraph Sport’s 50 most influential women in sport. She was also awarded the title of Women’s Football Champion at the prestigious Women’s Football Awards 2024.
From grassroots participation to the boardroom, equality is a huge passion for Yvonne – whose previous achievements have helped to make a difference to people’s lives through sport and physical activity.
Within this lunch-time presentation, entitled ‘The Changing Face of Football: Why It Matters to All of Us’ attendees will find out more about the Women in Football organisation, explore the rise of the women’s game, and hear more about the people powering both men’s and women’s football today.
Yvonne will also share real experiences of working in the industry, discuss the importance of allyship, and connect the dots with other sectors facing similar challenges and opportunities.
