Established in 1947 the Grimshaw Group has grown to encompass three divisions. Grimshaw Construction for civil engineering projects, Grimshaw Sports for Sports surface construction, sports equipment and ancillary services and Grimshaw Maintenance, for external and sports surface cleaning and maintenance.
Working for a large variety of clients from local authorities and educational establishments to sports clubs and private clients, Grimshaw Sports (formally Kinnear Sports) can take an idea on a drawing board to a fully equipped, floodlit playable sports surface.
Every project is treated individually and serviced using the skills of its own labour force. Recent contracts have included Multi Use Games Areas, Tennis Courts, Football Pitches and Basketball Courts to name a few. Using a variety of surfaces all have benefited from Grimshaw expertise in their construction and equipment and continue to enjoy aftercare through the Grimshaw maintenance programme.
