Established in 1993, Labosport is the world leader of independent testing laboratories specifically dedicated to sports surfaces, equipment and goal-line technology.
Labosport is an international test laboratory and advisory group with unrivalled independent expertise. The company is recognised by all relevant international and national sports governing bodies. We work closely with sports policy makers to help set the standards for facilities and equipment used from the top professional levels of sport down to the grassroots community.
Our technical tests are aimed at improving quality and conformity to existing standards and sport federation regulations. Site inspections and laboratory tests complement each other and help provide assurance that sports grounds have the required characteristics in terms of safety, durability and performances as well as environmental compatibility. Labosport has been heavily involved, for many years, in the development of technical standards at both national and international level.
We are certificated to ISO 17025 and regularly audited; hence one can be assured of the highest quality, accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility of our results and therefore have confidence you are getting the correct answer.
Labosport is widely recognised as a leading test institute by all the key sports organisations and federations. Labosport is also a member of the European Synthetic Turf Organization (ESTO), the Synthetic Turf Council (STC), as well as the International Association for Sport Surface Science (ISSS).
Labosport have been certified by FIFA as a test institute to undertake the final installation testing of GLT systems. This involves a detailed series of tests at each venue in which GLT is going to be used. The rigours tests designed by FIFA are intended to assess the GLT system to ensure it works as designed.
