The choice of surface is possibly the most critical decision when building an artificial pitch and here at Lano Sports, we recognise the importance of making the right choice. We have been manufacturing artificial surfaces for over 30 years and have a vast knowledge of the differences between the various types available. Be it a sand-based carpet or sand/rubber filled system, we have manufactured them all and are therefore well placed to offer advice on the right choice of system for you.
Most importantly, we will try to understand for what you want to use the pitch. Whilst most manufacturers can offer a surface for any given individual sport, we produce systems for both single sports as well as multiple sports. It is crucial to Lano Sports that we advise you correctly on the most appropriate surface for your needs and with so many different options available to you, we need to understand for what sports you want to use the pitch.
Having determined the most appropriate surface system, we will be able to point you in the direction of a suitable contractor able to either build the pitch in its entirety or purely install the surface. Whichever you require, all contractors are approved by Lano Sports and are able to carry out the project to the highest order. We recognise that the pitch is only as good as the completed installation and therefore insist that all our partners are fully capable of not only building a pitch to the exacting standards but also trained in the art of carpet installation.
Our surfaces are developed and manufactured in-house to comply with the appropriate standards, be it FIFA, FA, World Rugby, ITF or FIH for example and we offer surfaces to suit all budgets. Therefore if you are a small tennis club on a tight budget or a privately run sports club with limited funds, we can offer you the right type of surface at an affordable price. We are passionate about sport and only want to provide you with the best possible surface for your needs, so please contact us to discuss your project further.
