Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)

Affiliate Member

The LTA’s overall purpose is to continue to grow and sustain the sport.

We will do this by increasing participation and giving opportunities for high performance players to develop, as both of these make a significant contribution to growth.

There is a dynamic balance to be maintained in the sport. This involves increasing weekly participation and supporting a positive experience of being involved in tennis alongside sustaining activity in high performance player development. All of which are central to the overall growth and sustainability of tennis.

The vision for British tennis continues to be ‘winning’ at everything we do. Winning by – attracting more young people, running better competitions, encouraging clubs to improve the service to their members, giving more help to coaches, club managers and volunteers, giving high performance players improved opportunities to fulfil their potential, securing sponsorship and government funding and continuing to attract some of the world’s best tennis events to the UK for the fans.
