The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a registered charity, established over 80 years ago, which campaigns for change, influences opinion, contributes to debate, educates and informs – for the good of all.
By providing information, advice, resources and training, RoSPA is actively involved in the promotion of safety and the prevention of accidents in all areas of life – at work, in the home, and on the roads, in schools, at leisure, at play and on (or near) water.
The Play Safety section of RoSPA is concerned with places where children play. It includes inspection, training, consultancy and advice for playgrounds (both indoor and outdoor), skate parks and other wheeled-sports areas, multi-use games area, surfacing, parks and open spaces and other similar facilities.
