SIS Pitches is a one-stop shop for all synthetic, hybrid and natural turf surfaces. We utilise our passion for performance to design, manufacture, build, install and maintain our high-quality sports pitches.
Our business is built on a real passion for sport, from the ex-sport players who lead the company to the experienced team who carry out our projects. Sport is in our DNA. We draw on the same desire, dedication and commitment that come from playing sport and use it to drive our actions.

Design – Our experience allows us to offer choice, advice and understanding, whether working to a specification or designing ourselves.
Manufacture- All of our turf is manufactured right here in the UK, in our factory in Maryport, Cumbria. We are a FIFA Licensee, World Rugby Preferred Turf Producer and an FIH certified manufacturer. Recently, we have been accredited as a FIH Certified Builder.
Build – We offer national coverage building pitches, which are always managed by a permanent on-site Supervisor and overseen by a regional Contracts Manager.
Install- Both shock pads and our SISTurf range of sports surfaces are installed by our own trained installers, using the best equipment for the most accurate infilling. All of our pitches are tested on completion by independent test houses.
Maintain- Through our SISPlus service, we offer specialist on site maintenance as well as training and free site visits to assess the state and performance of pitches. We are delighted to also offer our clients access to SISPlus-our dedicated pitch maintenance portal.
Some of our high-profile clients include professional clubs such as Chelsea, Saracens and FC Barcelona. SISGrass, our revolutionary hybrid surface system, has been selected for 6 out of the 12 football World Cup venues in Russia, including the Luzhniki Stadium, host of the opening and final matches of the tournament.
We are proud to offer our services to independent schools and universities, with works completed at Loughborough University, St Pauls School and The University of Manchester, where we completed a project worth in excess of £2m.
What’s more, we are pleased to work with commercial organisations such as Powerleague and Play Football and to be part of a framework agreement in support of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Football Association (FA), Sport England, England Hockey and Football Foundation (FF) capital investment programmes.
