Now in their ninth year, the SAPCA Awards were launched in 2015 to celebrate the achievements of SAPCA members across the sports and play facility construction industry.

As part of a strategy to grow the awards’ significance and recognition, for the 2024 edition SAPCA made a number of changes both to the way the SAPCA Awards are delivered and the way winners are celebrated.

The six distinct categories for 2024 were chosen to provide clarity and will now become a permanent fixture. This year also saw the very first SAPCA Awards Dinner, with the awards presentation ceremony taking centre stage.

SAPCA Chief Executive, Richard Shaw, said: “We want to thank all member companies that submitted entries for the SAPCA Awards 2024. There was a large number of submissions and the judging panel had a tough task of picking the winners from a very strong field.

“The six winners showcase the very best of SAPCA members. They highlight how the facilities our members create generate huge social value in communities up and down the country. Huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists!”
