CONICA Ltd, the Newark-based international sports, play and functional flooring specialist, has added to its growing team with the appointment of Mike Hill as UK Head of Operations.
After almost 20 years with the business John Bramwell, Operations Director will be retiring at the end of October this year.
During his time with the company, John has been a fundamental part of everything the company achieved and will leave CONICA with one of the best truck tyre recycling plants anywhere in the world.
CONICA would like to thank John for his outstanding contribution to the business and especially his willingness to go above and beyond anything we could have wished for, or expected, during this very challenging COVID-19 period.
To continue to help the operational side of the business continue to develop and thrive, CONICA is pleased to announce that Mike Hill joined the business on Monday 7th September as our Head of Operations. Mike most recently worked for Siemens Mobility in Lincoln and brings with him a wealth of mechanical, hydraulic and electric/electronics engineering experience gained during his time with the RAF (working on fighter jets) and with Siemens.
“I am delighted to have joined CONICA at such an exciting time in their development.” Said Mike. “Already an industry leader, CONICA has ambitious and innovative plans to grow its capacity significantly in the short to medium term, further investing in its already highly skilled workforce and green credentials. I look forward to working with CONICA’s existing supplier and customer base and building on our already strong partnerships.”
CONICA wishes John a long, happy and healthy retirement and welcomes Mike on board.
