Hunter Construction are pleased to announce that Lloyds Register have just approved our company’s Management system under the terms set out under United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accreditation.
The company is now approved to ISO 9001: 2015 for its Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 for its Environmental Management Systems. These internationally recognised standards are accepted as a benchmark of proven and tested business systems and practice.
Being certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 demonstrates that our management systems have been independently externally scrutinised and satisfy the standard.
Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) is the world’s leading provider of independent assessment services including certification, validation, verification and training across a broad spectrum of standards and schemes, with recognition from over 50 accreditation bodies.
Our clients can now be assured that our systems have been assessed by auditors that are accredited to provide management system certification by UKAS who are the only UK accreditation body that ensures that this process is truly independent and meets the standard.
Mark Oakley, Contracts Director, said “Many of our clients are now requiring that our management systems are verified independently and crucially also have UKAS recognition. We are delighted that we can now demonstrate this to them and were delighted to work with Lloyds Register to achieve this.“
