School football just got a major boost – and SAPCA member, Mark Harrod, is incredibly proud to be part of it. After supporting the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) for several years, the company has now been named the ESFA’s Official Goals Partner for the next three years – strengthening its shared commitment to helping schools across England access safe, reliable and long-lasting goals.
The ESFA delivers football opportunities to hundreds of thousands of pupils every year. By partnering with them, Mark Harrod will make sure that:
• Schools have access to safe, durable, British-made goals
• ESFA competitions and events run with equipment that meets the highest standards
• Member schools benefit from exclusive offers, promotions and expert advice
• Awareness grows around the importance of correctly installed and maintained equipment
As a result of the partnership, schools across England will gain access to high-quality goalposts and sports equipment which have been designed, engineered and manufactured in Britain (Staffordshire). Schools will also benefit from Mark Harrod’s expert support from its in-house team (from maintenance guidance to product recommendations) and discounts for ESFA-affiliated schools (20% off goals and team shelters).
Mary Brandrick, General Manager at Mark Harrod Limited, said: “Partnering with the ESFA allows us to help schools across England access safe, reliable and long-lasting equipment – so every game can be played with confidence. We’re proud to bring our UK-made goals to pitches where the future of football begins.
“When it comes to school football, quality matters. Every goal scored, every training session, every future star – it all starts with equipment schools can trust.
“For us, it’s simple: better goals lead to better, safer football. And together, we want every pupil to play on equipment built to last.”
Tony James, ESFA Chair, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Mark Harrod Limited as the ESFA’s Official Goals Partner. Their expertise and long-standing dedication to improving sports facilities in schools perfectly align with our mission to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to enjoy football in a safe and well-supported environment.”
The partnership runs until June 2028.
