When choosing a new synthetic sports surface there are many factors to consider such as durability, performance and maintenance which can become confusing at times.

As a UK manufacturer and installer of sport surfaces, Playrite work with their customers to understand their needs when choosing the best surface to meet their requirements.

The Head Teacher at Edenhurst Preparatory School in Newcastle Under Lyme approached Playrite requesting a new synthetic sports surface that would help deliver the school ethos to their students – Nurture, Inspire and Achieve, by ensuring that the surface could accommodate a wide variety of sports and remain low maintenance.

Playrite’s Matchplay 2 was deemed the right choice, providing the school with a facility that can be used daily and give an extra dimension to the range of external facilities that the school are now able to offer to their pupils.

One of the factors that influenced Mr Copestick’s decision was that he could source the surface from a UK manufacturer and know that the local installation team could be on hand at short notice.
