Leading sports facility specialists S&C Slatter are hosting a workshop on artificial grass rugby pitches in conjunction with the Boarding Schools Association. This is taking place in the Members Lounge at Twickenham Stadium on 24 January 2019 and will be of particular interest to schools, clubs and local communities considering the development of a rugby turf facility.
A leading panel of experts will be presenting an interesting and varied agenda of topics including developing a cohesive project plan, performance standards, design and planning, surfacing technology, construction, operations and aftercare.
Marc Douglas World Rugby Research, Turf and Equipment Manager, Paul Fraser FieldTurf Regional Business Director and Ben O’Connor S&C Slatter Head of Pre-Construction are being joined on the panel by Robert Lougee Bursar of Salesian College and Ben Grigor Grounds Manager at Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate.
The BSA and S&C Slatter are also delighted to welcome Paul Wilson, Harlequins Foundation Manager, who will be giving a special presentation on the Foundation’s ‘Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds’ programme which is making such a valuable contribution to addressing the challenges of mental wellbeing within the younger members of the community.
