Sports Coating Ltd are delighted to announce that, with effect from 1 January 2020, their Technical Sales Manager, Michael Burton, will assume the role of Sports Coatings’ General Manager.
Prior to and post DCP International’s acquisition of Sports Coatings in 2016, Mike has played a main role in the company’s development and ongoing success.
In acknowledgment of the continued contribution, Mike’s role as a General Manager will help develop Sports Coatings and bring more success. In addition to the duties as a General Manager, Mike will continue with his day-to-day role in product development, marketing and technical sales, providing what we feel is vital support to his network of highly valued sports surface industry customers.
Sports Coatings is a leading manufacturer of coatings, seals and line-marking products for all manner of sport and recreational surfaces, both indoor and out. Utilising state-of-the art water-based acrylic and polyurethane resin technology, their products are specifically designed to be applied to macadam, concrete, polymeric and timber sport and leisure surfaces, along with synthetic and natural grass.
DCP International is committed to the long-term manufacture of Sports Coating’s portfolio at DCP-UK’s Haverhill plant, and to develop the business to lead the markets in all aspects of Sports Coatings.
