SAPCA member, Tarkett Sports, has today announced the acquisition of fellow SAPCA member, Allsports Construction and Maintenance Limited.

The move will see Tarkett, a European leader in sports surface solutions, acquire 100% of the shares in Allsports – a Scotland-based company specialising in the construction and maintenance of sports surfaces.

Allsports employs thirteen full time staff providing expertise and knowledge to the Scottish market. Through Tarkett Sports’ acquisition, Allsports will continue to operate under its existing name with its current team remaining in place, ensuring continuity for customers and partners.

As a result, Tarkett will further strengthen its presence in Scotland and reinforce its commitment to serving the Scottish sports infrastructure market.

It follows a successful period of collaboration between the two companies, during which they jointly delivered high-quality sports projects across Scotland, while meeting evolving customer needs.

Allsports has built a strong reputation for excellence in synthetic turf construction and maintenance, supporting schools, local authorities, and sports clubs throughout Scotland. The integration of Allsports strengthens Tarkett Sports’ turnkey capabilities across Europe and its focus on delivering high-performance and sustainable sports flooring solutions to communities across the continent.

“We are delighted to welcome Allsports into our Tarkett Sports team,” said Eddy Schmitt, President & CEO, Tarkett Sports.”

“Allsports brings deep local expertise, a strong reputation, and a shared commitment to quality and customer service. Our partnership to date has already delivered impressive results, and this acquisition enables us to offer even greater value to the Scottish market”.

Paul Thom of Allsports added: “Joining Tarkett Sports marks an exciting new chapter for Allsports. We’ve enjoyed a close working relationship over the past few years, and this move gives us access to a broader product portfolio, innovation capabilities, and resources that will benefit our clients and our team. We’re proud of our Scottish roots and look forward to continuing to grow within the Tarkett Sports group.”
