Phil Williams

Phil oversees the strategic and technical direction of the company’s sustainable drainage, geoenvironmental, and flood risk management services. With extensive expertise in sustainable drainage system (SuDS) design, international water management strategies, and ground gas protection, Phil has led projects across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. His work spans from small-scale developments to large master-planning schemes, integrating blue-green infrastructure, hydraulic modelling, and climate resilience into urban design. He has authored and contributed to key industry guidance, including CIRIA’s SuDS Manual and BSI standards on subsoil and tree soils. Phil’s technical acumen and leadership have positioned EPG as a trusted partner for delivering innovative, compliant, and sustainable water management solutions in sport, public and private sector clients​.
