The latest issue of SportsNation, SAPCA’s official magazine, has now been published and is available to read online.

Issue 4/2026 features an interview with Cameron Saunders, the new CEO of ukactive. Saunders, who has a background in film, media and entertainment, aims to use his experience in creating audiences to make sport and physical activity a “mainstream activity”.

Elsewhere, Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s plan to “rewire the state” is studied in detail, as it could mark one of the biggest changes to the way sport is funded and delivered in England for a generation. SportsNation examines the plans and outlines the threats and opportunities they present.

There is also an in-depth look at the recent Commonwealth Games and how the event has reinvigorated the competition, as well as a look at how temporary buildings can transform both major events and community sport – featuring case studies from SAPCA members.

Issue 4/2026 also includes the latest issue of PadelNation, the UK’s dedicated magazine for the rapidly-growing sport.
